Teen & Adult Taekwondo in Leesburg & Berryville, VA

Begin Taekwondo or return to training at USTMA. Explore technique, fitness, and self-defense with a free evaluation class that begins a full free week.

You can start as a beginner

You do not need a black belt or past competition experience to ask about training. Tell the academy whether you are a complete beginner, returning after a break, or transferring from another school. An instructor can help you discuss a suitable starting point. Teens and adults may have different class options, so confirm the current schedule and class grouping with your preferred academy before visiting.

Train toward a goal that matters to you

Some students want to learn Taekwondo technique. Others want a regular physical activity or an opportunity to work toward a rank. Classes focus on fitness, self-defense, and martial arts practice. Learning movements and applying feedback takes time; a trial gives you a practical introduction without assuming that everyone begins with the same experience or goals. Ask the instructor what a typical beginner class involves.

A free week before your enrollment decision

Your Free Evaluation Class begins a full free week of Taekwondo. Use that time to meet the instructors, see the training space, and discuss how classes fit into your week. Submit your name, contact details, age, and preferred academy below. The USTMA team will contact you to confirm your first lesson. Your request is an inquiry, not a reservation for a specific session.

Returning students and advanced training

If you have trained before, share your previous style, rank, and how long it has been since you last practiced. Rank placement and the next training step are questions for an instructor; a previous belt does not automatically determine class placement. Students interested in higher ranks can also ask about Black Belt & Beyond, its requirements, and current availability. Competition and specialized training should be discussed separately.

Make the practical details work

Before enrolling, confirm class times, current tuition, equipment needs, and enrollment terms. Ask how many sessions are available for your program and how to contact the academy if your schedule changes. If you are exploring classes for a teenager, include them in the conversation about what they want to learn. Leesburg and Berryville have separate academy contact numbers so you can speak with the location you plan to attend.
