We started my son here when he was just 4 years old to help give him some focus and burn off some of that extra energy. The change was almost immediate. 6 1/2 years later, and he just passed his 2nd dan belt test! All five members of my family go now. USTMA has become one of my "happy places" I think about often. I really like the freedom to come to any class they have that fits my schedule. The instructors are all exceedingly patient and awesome to work with. They truly bring out the best in the students.

My son has attended USTMA for over a year now. He loves going. Our family enjoys the 'family-like' environment. He has gained so much confidence in himself. The school promotes growth and discipline in all areas; taekwondo, school work, and attitude toward others.
I highly encourage anyone thinking of joining to come in an try it out!

My daughter, husband and I have been going here for only a couple months now but we love USTMA. My daughter is only 5 and getting her to focus sometimes is a challenge but the instructors here are very patient and are always able to bring her back on point. The learning environment , whether for a child or adult, is very supportive. All the students, instructors, and masters are so encouraging and never make you feel inadequate. And unlike other tkd schools I've seen, Grand Master Choi is very involved all the time. He and his sons are always at the school leading you to believe they live there. I'm still not convinced they don't.

I cannot say enough how much I love US Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy. This is an activity I've been able to be involved with alongside my children. I get a great work out and get to spend time with my kids at the same time! My boys are learning how to be strong, respectful members of their community while having so much fun in the process. Every single instructor is kind, patient and just all around amazing. It feels much more like being a part of an extended family than just a school. I am so grateful to have found USTMA! Did I mention I love USTMA?

USTMA is amazing. The instructors create a family atmosphere for all. They help build confidence in their students. They create an atmosphere of respect, tradition, responsibility, and kindness. The patience given to the students while learning their skills is amazing. They’re after school care and schools out camps are fantastic! Having our child attend USTMA was the best decision we could have made!

A good martial arts school.. probably the best in Leesburg. I interviewed 4 different schools in Leesburg and this one was the best value with the most classes for the price. The after school program is also best of the schools I looked at. If you sign up for the black belt program and the after school program kids can take several hours of class a day if they wish.. some of the other schools in Leesburg have little to no class each day. Some have 45 mins some have class only every other day. USTMA is a great school with a strong family atmosphere. They also do after school pickup.

I been coming to USTMA for the past 4 years. Great school and excellent teacher. Don’t waste your time searching for cheap martial arts schools. You get high quality for your money. Also best 5 times winner of Loudoun.

USTMA is the best choice for your family. I say this with passion because I have twin 4.5 yr old boys both with autism, they (WE) all enjoy all aspects of USTMA because not only are my boys learning taekondo skills... they are learning to listen and respect, and follow instruction in a place that we all feel like one big family.

My one son is still considered Non-verbal and he has learned to count to 10 in Korean and many other words he says with pride and a huge smile.

The instructors are ALL amazing, I have never seen such patience with
special needs children. One is testing for his yellow belt tonight- he loves it and is really focused (again, the instructors.) My other son is challenging to teach because it's hard to get his attention when he "stims" (it's an autism thing) but he has learned quite a bit and as parents, we are pleased with his accomplishments. Grand Master Choi has even expressed special interest in teaching him.

They have family fun nights every month, and huge fundraising events like golf outings and kick cancer out of this world events.

If you are reading this, I am assuming you are "looking around," why not stop in? You can even try it out! Give them a call, you have nothing to lose.

USTMA..... NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
